I know this is not really anime related but Verizon pissed me off with their IP address locks. For those that don�t know Verizon locked each person to IP's to one physical address on the modems. This means that if you were using your UBS connection when they did this, then your Ethernet will not work and vice versa. This also means you will not be able use both at the same time. If you want to change the cable you are using you are suppose to rest your modem every time and it suppose to detect the change. If it doesn�t then you will need to plug in both cables to your computer and find your real IP address. One will be the computer default and the other one your real address. Then your going to have to go and input the address manually for the connection/cable you want to use. If you need help with this just leave a post on the tag board or the forum. Another problem caused by the lock is online gaming for the X Box (I don�t know it PS2 is affected). In order to connect you are going to have to do something called MAC Spoofing. To learn how to do this go to the X Box Live site and look for DNS server connecting, MAC Spoofing. If you need help with this leave a post. New maps are "suppose" to come out on April 25 . Right now on the Red vs Blue site they have a video of one of the new maps, its called WarLock a remake or Wizard. They are suppose to put out more videos of new leverl all this week. I will admit that the all of the Halo 2 maps are very detailed and impressive looking but I still say they should have spent more time on the story. OVER

A new Hellsing OVA series is being produced in cooperation with Geneon Entertainment, according to an annoucement at the MipTV tradeshow in France. The number of episodes is unknown, but they will be 35 minutes long and based on the Hellsing manga series.

Anime on DVD has acquired information released by Geneon at the MIP TV trade show in France regarding a couple of new shows that Geneon is involved with or has licensed.

The first is a brand new Hellsing OAV series.

Geneon is listed as the North American and Japanese distributor for the new Hellsing OAV series. According to the one-sheet, the "Hellsing Ultimate OVA Series" is "based on original comic." Reliable information that we have received from industry sources tells us that the series will be much more faithful to the original manga than the TV series. Also of note, while Gonzo's parent company, GDH, is listed as the Asian and European license holder for the OAV, they are not significantly involved in the production of the new series.

The one-sheet lists the episodes as 35 minutes each but does not provide any information on the number of episodes.

I finally got around to fixing the colors for the ratings but it seems the list is growing too big. I think I will have to separate them into categories but that will not happen until Summer. I was hoping to watch more anime and write some review during Spring Break but I have not had much free time. They gave me too much homework and I am finally catching up. I will try to get at least 2 reviews up before I go back to school. OVER

They just released the promo for Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid. The story takes place after Fumoffu, and is more dramatic and serious then the previous two FMP's. Okay I have been updating the site and have added some anime. I counted 154 anime titles but will have to go through my stash to make sure I did not miss any. I still need to color coordinate the ratings with the names and find pics for each title. I really should keep up with the updates since its going to take me a whole day to finish udating. I don�t remember if I posted it here or in the forums but the Tenjou Mangas are going to be heavily edited. They are going to take out the sex, drugs and extreme violence. Um ya so what�s left, them talking while staring at each other? Most recently the I"s mangas will be released and censored. Here is an article I got off of Anime News Network.



Regarding edits made to the I''s manga, Viz has stated, "Any (very minimal) edits done to any manga title are to fit the criteria of audiences in the U.S., and we follow and respect the wishes of the creator to the letter, as we did in this instance. There are never, at any time, any edits done without the creator's full knowledge and approval."

Viz also noted that the Japanese release of volume 3 featured star typed censorship similar to what was added to volume 1 of the North American release.




Why do they take stuff that was meant for older audiences and convert it to child stuff. I for one will not buy those mangas and will refuse to buy anything that has been edited. OVER
