1st of the Month Post
Fullmetal Alchemist story has come to a conclusion. Both the manga and second TV series have recently finished. For those that do not know the first tv series was originally following the manga, but when it caught up it to the mangas last chapter it branched off into a different universe instead of going to fillers. The movie follows the logic of the first tv series. The second tv series strictly follows the manga. Both version of the story are interesting and it is worth checking out but as in most cases I feel the manga version is better.
As an anime fan I really appreciate the first tv series continuing the story instead of going into fillers, branching off into some strange uninteresting alternate story or simply ending. I am also grateful that a second version of the tv series was made. I cannot recall this being done for any other anime and there are so many that I wish the anime series would start back up. I wonder if there is somewhere we can petition?
