1st of the Month Post 

Several new series came out recently but I have only consistently been watching Fairy Tale and Kiddy Girl. Fairy Tale is basically One Piece with magic instead of pirates, I only wish it were as good. Reading the 1st few chapters of the manga made the series seem promising but it feels like they are just jumping around the storyline. Its almost as if each episode is a recap. Kiddy Girl is a spin off of Kiddy Grade, which takes places several years later. I really enjoy the animation style of Kiddy Grade and am glade they kept it for the new series. Currently the episodes are light hatred and silly but I anticipate it will take a serious turn much like Kiddy Grade.

As for gaming news I just want to say I am done with Xbox. We had many good years together but sometimes relationships have to end. Xbox and Microsoft have disappointed me to many times recently. First Bungie spits in my face by releasing Halo ODST and calling it a game instead of an expansion pack.

Then Xbox decides to take a dump in my living room by having my Xbox crap out on me. I am not disappointed that my xbox 360 died, its expected as explained to me by a xbox rep, "We expect this to happen". I am disappointed in the customer support and repair process. Apperently you cannot suspend an xbox live account when the console is being worked on instead you get one month of xbox live free (even if the process takes over a month). "The repair time starts when we receive the console not when you ship it" , this was also explained to me by a rep. I guess I was wrong in assuming the repair process began when I called and requested a shipping label. I mean its not like Xbox predefined the shipping method nor do they use something as slow as regular ground shipping.

It was also clarified that my warranty is not as good as normal warranty because my xbox fell under the extended 3 year warranty (warranty extended because Microsoft knowingly sold faulty hardware). My warranty is crap because they system I bought was crapy. I appoligzy Microsoft, I should not have purchased a faulty product from you. Do not worry though, I will not make the same mistake again.

PS. My xbox was not fixed and is going back for round two. I have canceled my xbox live account and have purchased a PS3.
